Marian High School is a Catholic, college preparatory high school for
young women sponsored by the Sisters, Servant of the Immaculate Heart of
Mary in 1959.

The mission of Marian High School is to ensure, within a Christian
environment, an excellent education built on a strong academic curriculum,
which will enable young women to value human diversity and live responsible
lives of leadership and action based upon Gospel values.

Marian is accredited by North Central Association of Schools and Colleges
(NCA). Students are provided with a strong college preparatory curriculum
in Computer Science, English, Mathematics, Modern Languages, Science,
and Social Studies. Honors and Advanced Placement courses are offered
in all academic areas. Marian recommends that all students take a core
curriculum which includes: at least four years of English and Mathematics;
four years of Theology; three years of Modern Language, Science, and Social
Studies; two years of Fine and Performing Arts (Art, Music, Drama); one
year of Computer Science and Physical/Health Education; and one-half credit
of Christian Service. Several alternative classes are available - please

Marian provides many opportunities for meaningful extracurricular activities
including All School Board (student government), National Honor Society,
Modern Language Honor Societies, Modern United National, School Newspaper,
Yearbook, Band, Drama Club, SADD (Students Against Drunk Driving), F.R.E.E.
(Friends Reviving Earth's Environment), ELS (English Literary Society), and
many more.

Marian sportswomen are well-recognized in Catholic High School League (CHSL)
and the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA). Interscholastic
Sports are offered in the following: basketball, competitive dance, cross
country, field hockey, golf, lacrosse, ski racing, soccer, softball,
swimming/diving, tennis, track and field, and volleyball.

Marian offers scholarships, a work-study program, and tuition assistance
to qualified candidates.

- Marian graduates go on to four-year colleges or universities.
- Marian's Guidance Staff works with each student to encourage her to develop her growth potential; students are provided with personal, academic, college, and career counseling.
- Marian's Ministry Program provides liturgies, retreats, and Christian Service projects to reinforce student Christian beliefs and values.
- Family commitment to Marian fosters a sense of pride in our school. Marian's Mothers', Dads', and Athletic Clubs are active organizations. All parents are welcome to participate.
